There’s no point phoning me to ask if I’ve seen your news release.
It’s even more useless to send me an email that starts “On Wednesday you received my press release…”
All you’ve done is emphasize that your pitch didn’t catch me the first time. Why on earth would I want to listen to it again?
A better bet? Find a new angle and cut to the chase. We’ll all be happier.
